Directed Draft, A guided writing group
Directed Draft is an eight-week structured scholarly writing group that I run with my fellow developmental editor and writing coach, Karen Dewart McEwen, PhD.
Karen and I developed Directed Draft based on our extensive experience supporting authors in the social sciences and humanities. It features two core components to help academic authors make the most of their writing time:
Individual coaching sessions provide personalized feedback and guidance to help you focus and advance your project
Facilitated group writing sessions (offered twice per week) build accountability, regularity, and connection to strengthen your writing practice
